I’ve had a complicated relationship with my skin for as long as I can remember. I grew up with acne-prone skin, painful breakouts and constant redness. All the products I used either dried me out or broke me out. I’d try something new every few weeks, hoping it would finally be the one. It never was. Nothing gave me that clear, balanced, healthy skin glow I was searching for.

While working a corporate job, I found myself spending every spare moment researching ingredients, watching skincare videos and diving deep into what actually makes skincare work. I researched K-beauty, J-Beauty and all of the current trends. The more I learned, the more I realised how much of the skincare industry was overcomplicated, overly fragranced, or packed with things our skin doesn’t really need.
